Black is for Beginnings reveals the never-before-seen backstory–and what fro ahead–for the young, spellcasting lovers. There were some parts that made me confused, and there were parts that made me have multiple different emotions going all at once. The new format was a nice change, but suffered from a pointless storyline and length constraints.

Meanwhile, Stacey feels threatened when she finds out that Jacob’s ex-girlfriend is spending so much time with him, so she decides to go visit him. It was one of my favorite sotlarz that I read. I enjoyed seeing what bsginnings after Jacob got out of that horrible camp and how his life with and without Stacey continued. The black and white artwork, while nothing outstanding, is nicely done with realistic people and facial expressions.

But I can say a few things. To be brutally honest, I felt a little cheated. Killers pursuing her and her friends.

That being said I blqck wish the story had not been turned into a graphic novel so I could have gotten more details into why Jacob decided to go home to Colorado, how Jacob got his memories back, and what those memories were. I can paint a better picture in my head with the words from a book than I can with the pictures already in front of me.

This book even though made me have multiple different emotions all in one, I quite enjoyed it.
