I was really excited to read this. Nov 24, Serena. To this day I have a special feeling for all sorts of broken bells, alarm clocks, old coils, telephone speakers. I’m not a huge ronotow of short stories, but these take the reader to places that I think no one has ever been.

He’s incredibly inventive and smashes through traditional techniques. On some level, something must have gotten lost in translation from Polish to German, Lem being a hailed SciFi author and all.
